Since we don’t delete any data, you have to move old, discarded, lost or stolen books into an archive store to remove it from the live or current data set.

Archiving textbooks

Go to Reports and select Store Inventory.

Enter the unique barcode of the textbook you want to remove from the system into the search box and click Search.

When the book is found, click on Edit on the right.

Under Store, move the textbook to one of the archive stores, such the Lost or End-if-Life stores, you created at Setup Stores

Now click on Save.

Now you will be able to report on whether the books were Lost of Discarded and the student’s or teacher’s data will now no longer appear under the live or current data.
